Open Seat Board Games Night
Open Seat Board Game Night is every Friday from 6 to 10 PM at Bat City Games & Comics. It is free. Come on your own, and we will help you find a game and a table with an open seat.
- When: Every Friday, 6 to 10 PM
- Cost: Free
- Where: Bat City Games & Comics, Sunset Valley
How it works
Walk in and tell us you are here on your own. Pick from our demo games, or let us suggest one, and we will help you find a table with an open seat. No group needed, and no experience either. That is the whole idea of the night: people who came without a group, and tables with room for them.
New to board games?
Ask us for a gateway game, or tell us what you liked last time and we will find the next one. Demo games are free to play in the shop. Our house rules ask you to treat them kindly and return them in good condition.
Not sure what to play?
Tell us what kind of night you want. If you would like to be on a team, ask for a co-op game. If you like to plan ahead, ask for a strategy game. If you want something light while you meet the table, ask for a word game. If you fall for one, it is on the shelf.
Bringing friends next time?
Board Games Night is every Saturday from 6 to 10 PM, except the last Saturday of the month, when we host a Warhammer tournament.
Also on Friday
Star Wars: Unlimited Night and Flesh and Blood Night run the same hours, 6 to 10 PM. Times and entry fees for every night are on the Events page.
Find us at 5001 Highway 290, Austin, Texas 78735, in Sunset Valley. We are open every day from 10 AM to 10 PM. Questions? Call (512) 276-2870.
