New here?
You do not need an army to come. Stop by the counter, tell us you are curious, and we will show you what the games look like and where to start. If you do not know how to play, we will teach you.
Warhammer is a tabletop game played with miniature models. You assemble them, paint them, and move them across the table with a tape measure and a fistful of dice. The hobby comes from Games Workshop, and the painting bench is as much a part of it as the battle.
Where to start
Warhammer 40,000 is the science-fiction game, and a full army is a big project. If you would like to start smaller, ask us about Kill Team, which is played with a handful of models instead of a whole army. You can browse the Warhammer collection, the Warhammer 40,000 range and our featured Warhammer picks online, or ask at the counter and we will point you to something that fits.
Prefer to read the lore first? We carry Black Library novels and White Dwarf magazine too.
Painting at the table
Painting miniatures is welcome here. Bring your paints and brushes, and please clean up after yourself. If you are painting your first model, a spray primer, a few base colors and a shade will get it to the table, and our paints collection has all three. Nobody here is grading your brushwork.
The last Saturday of the month
We host a Warhammer tournament on the last Saturday of the month, and Board Games Night takes that Saturday off. Ask at the counter for details, or check the Events page.
Same night, next table over
Riftbound Nexus Night also runs on Mondays, 6 to 10 PM. If one of you has an army and the other has a deck, Monday works for both.
