Pokémon Open Play is every Sunday from 2 to 4 PM at Bat City Games & Comics. It is free. Bring your deck and find an opponent, or come to learn how to play.
When: Every Sunday, 2 to 4 PM
Cost: Free
Where: Bat City Games & Comics, Sunset Valley
The new Pokémon set, Delta Reign, goes on sale Friday, November 6. Read what to know for release day, then bring your pulls here on Sunday, November 8.
New to the Pokémon Trading Card Game?
If you don't know how to play yet, we can teach you. Stop by the counter and tell us. A deck has 60 cards: Pokémon, Energy and Trainers. You attach Energy to power your Pokémon's attacks, and the most common way to win is to take your six Prize cards first.
Bringing a deck?
Bring it, find an opponent, and play. Sleeves and deck boxes are in the shop if yours could use a little protection.
Earlier on Sunday
Bat City Magic Club runs from 10 AM to 2 PM for ages 8 to 16, so Open Play picks up right where the Club leaves off.
Find us at 5001 Highway 290, Austin, Texas 78735, in Sunset Valley. We are open every day from 10 AM to 10 PM. Questions? Call (512) 276-2870.
