A jolly roger of a good time, this version of Fluxx is all about the silliness! Yer in fer a seaworthy adventure as ye embark on yer quest for Goals such as Treasure Chests, Kegs o' Rum, and the ever-elusive Key Lime Pie. Ye best be speakin' in yer pirate voice to get ahead in this game - one o' the new rules aboard the ship is that pirate accents get extra card booty! Some other articles to be keepin ye' on yer toes: the right to Plunder means a mate can steal yer Keepers from ye every turn, and the Pirate who be wearin' the Captain's Hat gets extra perks and respect. Course, ye can always plan a Mutiny if you don't like who's in charge! Another thing about bein' in this crew: yer Keepers have their own rules and regulations on these seas. If ye have a treasure map Keeper, ye can hide your Booty keepers from yer mates; if a mate plays the rough seas card, ye lose hold of your cards if ye don't have any ship Keepers; if ye been stocking up on weapon keepers, however, no one can plunder from ye. Being a pirate means lots o' Surprises, too - these special cards can be played at any time and keep your fellow mate's crazy rules from affectin' ye. All in all, life on the high seas has never been more fun or unpredictable. Take care as ye may be forced t' Walk the Plank, Share the Wealth, or lose yer ships to a wreck! And there's always the two banes o' a pirate's life to watch out for - Shackles and Scurvy creepers
